As Director of Player Development for USA Hockey and as the Head Coach at an Elite Private College (Colby) in Maine, David has been instrumental in helping girls and women hockey players to achieve personal and team goals. An ambassador for girls and women hockey for over 10 years, David is passionate, enthusiastic and committed to helping girls of all ages, abilities, and experiences to improve their skills and develop a passion for playing the game.

According to David, "one of our goals for not just our summer programs but all of our player development experiences is to create the best positive environment that will enable our girls to gain confidence and play with passion. With confidence and passion players will achieve more goals, have more fun, and be better prepared for the effort and commitment it takes to get long-term results."

For over 19 years David has developed and taught a unique brand of hockey that not only gets results (a 201-121-5 lifetime coaching record) but builds confidence, valuable life-time skills, and a desire to give back to the sport in his players.

A former College Coach of the year winner (2005-2006), David has lead his college teams to the NESCAC title game (a first for one of the oldest women hockey programs in the country), and t
hree ECAC East semifinal games , and a top 10 national ranking (at USM)
